At this special gala dinner event in Stellenbosch Mediclinic Southern Africa officially opened three new hospitals: The relocated Mediclinic Stellenbosch, the Mediclinic Stellenbosch Day Clinic and Die Boord, the Mediclinic Winelands Orthopaedic Hospital.

The Ike Moriz Swing band started to play just before the doors were opened (song performed in the video: Black Orpheus).
The 3 sets swing band show consisted of the Ike Moriz quintet (voice, piano, saxophone, double bass & drums) performing much loved jazz standards, melodic pop songs and classic Moriz favourites.
300 V.I.P. guests of Mediclinic Southern Africa enjoyed Ike’s show jam-packed with classic hits like ‘Fly Me To The Moon’, ’The Lady is a Tramp’, Everything (Bublé), L.O.V.E. (Cole), Sway (Martin), My Baby just cares for me (Simone) and Ike’s own melodic gems like his famous mother city tribute ‘To Cape Town’.
Host and MC of the night Michael Mol entertained the guests in between the sets with informative and amusing stories from the medical sector.
Other highlights of the evening included engaging speeches by the Mediclinic founder and chairman Dr Hertzog, Western Cape Minister of Health Dr Mbombo, Mediclinic Southern Africa CEO Dr Koert Pretorius as well as the mayor of Stellenbosch Ms Gesie van Deventer.
